Lift a Cube: How to Lift Cubes (Controls & Lift Bar Explained)
How to lift cubes: walk up to trigger the LIFT prompt, rapidly left-click to push the bar icon to the edge, and read the cash reward or failure feedback. PC controls documented.
To lift a cube, walk up to it until a LIFT prompt appears, accept it, then rapidly tap the left mouse button to push the icon across the bar to the right edge. A successful lift shows the cube hoisted overhead with a cash amount added to your balance.
Approach a cube and start the lift
Cubes sit along a walking route that starts at the spawn area and gets heavier farther out. Each cube displays its weight in kilograms and a Recommended strength figure. Treat that figure as a strong planning signal rather than a confirmed hard lock: most observed lifts become straightforward at or above it, though one recorded lift succeeded slightly below the display. Walking up to a cube triggers the LIFT prompt, and accepting it starts the lifting minigame. The surrounding controls are minimal: WASD to move, spacebar to jump, and E to interact.
Use the lifting input and read the bar
The minigame shows a bar with an icon that must be pushed to the right end by rapidly tapping the left mouse button. It must be a left click — other inputs like the spacebar do not advance it. The bar needs continuous left-click input until the icon reaches the right edge; stopping mid-minigame halts progress.
Strength changes how much effort this takes. With enough strength relative to the cube's recommendation, the icon races across with barely any input, while a weaker character must tap far more. Cubes can be lifted repeatedly afterward.
Recognize a completed lift and its reward
The lift registers when the cube is hoisted overhead and a cash amount pops up on screen and is added to your balance. Each successful pickup pays a predetermined amount of Cash that depends on the cube's weight — heavier cubes pay more. After a completed lift, the game prompts you to lift the cube again, and cubes can be farmed repeatedly, so once a tier feels comfortable you can repeat it a few times before moving on. Players also observe a color cue on the lift attempt, with green signaling the lift will succeed.
When a lift does not complete
Observed reasons a cube lift does not go through:
- Your Strength is below the cube's Recommended value. Treat that value as a strong planning signal: most observed lifts become straightforward at or above it, though one recorded lift succeeded slightly below the display.
- You are not close enough for the LIFT prompt to appear; walk directly into the cube's interaction range.
- You stopped tapping mid-minigame; the bar needs continuous left-click input until the icon reaches the right edge.
- Related observed feedback: the character wobbles without lifting and shows no kg delta when attempting a cube that is too heavy.
If the prompt appears but the bar refuses to move, your strength is below the cube's recommendation — train more and come back.
Strength vs. the lifting input: what each one does
Keep two things separate. The lifting input (rapid left-clicks driving the bar) is your moment-to-moment action, while the Strength stat determines how hard that input has to work and whether the cube can be lifted at all. Meeting or beating the cube's Recommended strength makes the lift go smoothly; falling well short means the cube will not leave the ground. The Recommended figure on each cube effectively acts as a gate — what a specific Recommended value means for your run is a separate question from the lifting controls themselves.
